Nicole has worked in a wide variety of practice areas and is especially skilled at civil litigation. She has considerable knowledge of all aspects of case management and settlement negotiations. But having founded several successful small businesses, the most important skill Nicole offers our clients is borne of her own entrepreneurial experience. Her advice is not theoretical or aspirational, it is practical and pragmatic. She’s been there.

Nicole represents clients in a variety of commercial and noncommercial matters including, product liability, business disputes, business torts, employment disputes, unfair trade practices, arbitration and litigation. She serves as General Counsel to Den of Geek, US and in that capacity has managed the legal aspects of the self-described “geek popular culture” website from employee and contributor relationships to licensing matters. She’s also been known to contribute content to the site herself.

As head of the firm’s pro bono practice, Nicole embodies the firm’s commitment to our local and national community. She has spearheaded efforts to support military veterans, provide counseling with respect to trust and estates matters and offer many other legal services in the communities in which our attorneys are located. The firm does not have a dedicated pro bono team, preferring instead to encourage all of our lawyers to participate in this important work.

After earning her law degree, Nicole served as a Clerk to The Honorable Socrates Mihalakos of the Connecticut Appellate Court. In addition to practicing law, Nicole owns and operates the Hartland Diner in Hartland, Vermont.
