Currently a fellow at the Institute of Air and Space Law at McGill University, Michelle is an experienced business lawyer.  She commenced her legal career as a corporate attorney, specializing in cross-border financings, mergers and acquisitions at the international law firms of Shearman & Sterling and Faegre & Benson.

Michelle embraces a broad corporate practice meeting the legal needs of clients from a wide variety of industries.  She also acts as counsel for a number of nascent technology companies and entrepreneurs, providing general corporate formation, structuring and governance advice.  Michelle works with businesses of all sizes to negotiate and implement investment, funding, licensing and other contracts.

A passion for space and aerospace technologies led Michelle to Montreal to earn her LLM in Air and Space Law.   The Institute at McGill University is unique in the world as it covers both the breadth and depth of air and space law governing the ever-expanding range of aviation and space activities at both national and international levels.  This intensive preparation and tutelage makes Michelle well poised to address the special requirements of clients in the aviation and aerospace industries.
